Ordering Your Yurt

It’s Very Simple

Thinking of ordering a yurt? Just tell me what you have in mind. I’ll help you choose the right size and work out the details with you.

Once we’ve agreed on the yurt you want, the rest is very simple.

  1. Choose your yurt.We work out the size and the details together. See yurt sizes or explore the options if you’re still deciding.
  2. Receive your quotation.Pricing is bespoke, as each yurt is built to match what you want. I’ll send a written quotation showing exactly what’s included, the payment arrangements and the expected completion date. If you’d like delivery arranged, I can organise that too.
  3. Confirm your order. When you’re happy with everything, a 50% deposit normally confirms the order and reserves your place in our workshop schedule. If you’d prefer to spread the payments, we can discuss a staged arrangement. You’ll receive a deposit receipt and order confirmation.
  4. We make your yurt.Your yurt is made by hand in our workshop in Granada. We’ll keep you informed as the work progresses.
  5. Make the final payment. The remaining balance is normally due one week before dispatch. If we’ve agreed a different staged-payment arrangement, that will be clear in your quotation.
  6. Your yurt is on its way.We arrange the delivery or you can collect it, whichever suits you. Your yurt arrives carefully packed, ready to be pitched.

Delivered to You

Over the years we’ve sent yurts to customers across Europe, including the UK, France, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Norway and many other places.

Once your yurt is ready, we can arrange transport to your address, or you can collect it from our workshop. Delivery is quoted separately once the final packed size and weight are known.

Your Floor and Pitching

Most customers prepare a simple timber floor locally, using our floor-making guide. If you’re reasonably handy with ordinary woodworking tools, it’s a straightforward job, and I’m happy to advise if you have questions.

Your yurt arrives in sections, with detailed instructions, videos and help by telephone whenever you need it. Many customers invite a few friends to help pitch it. There’s something wonderful about watching the frame rise, the roof go on, and finally stepping inside the yurt you’ve brought to life together.
