Yurts Already Made
or Under Way
Most of our yurts are made to order, but from time to time we have one already made or already under way in the workshop.
You will find what is currently available below. Depending on how far through the workshop a yurt is, some details may still be possible to change.
If one catches your eye, get in touch. I can tell you where we are with it, when it will be ready and what can still be changed.
18 Foot Insulated Glass Wall Yurt
This 18 foot insulated Glass Wall yurt is currently scheduled for September.
It has sand-coloured canvas, natural wool felt insulation, a bright inner lining and our double-canvas roof system.
The drawing above shows the Glass Wall layout.
If you want to know whether an 18 foot yurt will give you the space you need, ask me. Tell me what you want to do with it and I can give you a pretty good idea.
16 Foot Insulated Glass Wall Yurt
This 16 foot insulated Glass Wall yurt is currently scheduled for September.
It has sand-coloured canvas, natural wool felt insulation, a bright inner lining and our double-canvas roof system.
The drawing above shows the Glass Wall layout.
If you are trying to decide whether 16 feet is enough, tell me what you want to use the yurt for and what needs to go inside it. I can help you work it out.
Recently Sold
This 10 foot insulated yurt has now been sold. I have left it here because smaller yurts like this do sometimes come up and it gives you an idea of what may appear on this page.
It had sand-coloured canvas, natural wool felt insulation, a bright inner lining, our double-canvas roof system and a three-quarter glazed wooden door.
A Little About Us
If you have landed directly on this page and do not know much about Yurt Workshop, we are a small family business with a small team working alongside us. We have been making yurts since 2005.
We love yurts. We care about the traditional form, the proportions, the natural chestnut frame, the oak crown, the canvas and how the finished yurt looks and feels.
We also want them to work extremely well and to last. Over the years we have kept the traditional parts that continue to make sense and introduced modern materials and methods where they genuinely give us a better result.
I am always happy to talk about what we make, so if you have questions about any of the yurts here, ask.
Looking for Something Different?
Most of our yurts are made to order, so what you see here is simply what happens to be available at the moment.
If you have something else in mind, get in touch. Tell me what you are thinking about and I can tell you what is coming through the workshop, what our current lead time is, or we can talk through a yurt made specifically for you.
