Buying Your Yurt

from the yurt workshop

Buying a yurt from the yurt workshop starts with choosing the size you want.
Step One: Size
From the list of links below, take a look at these pages and decide which size is best for you.

Step Two: Insulated or not
Have a look at the page listed below which is all about insulated yurts (our recommendation in most cases). Decide if you want your yurt to be insulated and lined.

Step Three: Frame Specification
The frames come in two "weights", standard weight and traditional weight, a heavier stronger frame. The traditional weight frame is a little more expensive than the standard weight frame.
In addition, there is the possibility of 6-foot walls for those that want it.
Step Four: Door(s), Windows and a Glass Wall?
Decide on what door and windows you would like.
Or if you would like a glass wall yurt have a look at the following page to help you design your glass wall.
Step Five: Canvas Colors
Select the colours you want. You can choose a different colour for the walls, roof and crown cover.

Step Six: Preparing An Estimate
Now contact me and let me know what you have decided on.  You can ask me any questions you may still have and I will prepare a layout diagram and final cost estimate for you.

Step Seven: Placing Your Order
Once you are happy with the design and estimate of costs and want to confirm the order we ask for a 50% *deposit. Once the deposit is received we will issue an invoice and enter your order in the order book.
We will contact you one week before completion to ask forthe balance to be paid.
*This deposit is non-refundable.

My Yurt Escape

I have recently moved into a Yurt. Ever since going on my first meditation retreats, I  have longed for somewhere quite, somewhere still, to escape to, to be in nature close to the teachings. I am so very lucky that I did not have to wait all that long, only four or so years.
