Second hand Yurt Workshop yurts are rare. Our yurts are built to last, and many customers keep them for many years, so used yurts do not often become available.
When a second hand yurt is available, we list it here. We can also advise on replacement parts, canvas care, reproofing and refurbishment for existing Yurt Workshop yurts.
When we offer a second hand yurt for sale, it is normally checked and refurbished before being listed. The woodwork may be cleaned, stripped, oiled or varnished where necessary, and the canvas can be cleaned and reproofed.
The wool felt, inner liners, oak crown, doors and windows are also checked carefully. A refurbished yurt will usually show some signs of previous use, but the important structural and practical details are inspected before sale.
Prices for second hand yurts are often not dramatically lower than new yurts. This is because Yurt Workshop yurts are built from high-quality materials, can be refurbished properly, and tend to hold their value well.

A classic fifteen foot yurt made by Yurt Workshop. It had an oiled and varnished chestnut frame, oak crown, beautiful wooden door and two windows.
Finished in cream canvas and lined with 100% wool felt, it also included a flue collar and a wood-burning stove. This yurt has now been sold, but it gives a good example of the kind of second hand yurt that may occasionally become available.
