In 2016 we sold and shipped our first yurt to the USA.
The photo above is the happy owners enjoying their eighteen foot diameter natural chestnut framed yurt, lined with wool felt insulation and an inner liner.
The yurt features a beautiful traditional eight spoke crown made in oak.
The yurt also includes one of our beautiful traditional opening windows as seen on the right.
A few words from the owners:
What a day!!!! We did it! Definitely a little bit tense in places, but it looks beautiful and is very secure and snug now. What an incredible work of art. We are exhausted, eating burritos by the fire, and soon to pull our bed in for the night! Tomorrow we will begin the proper move in. All day, everyone marveled at the incredible beauty of the chestnut lattice, the crown, the wonderfully sewn felt. Wow. It is going to be the most extraordinary home.

Spring in our yurt is absolute heaven, we are SO happy with it. :)
Shipping To the US
We can offer two shipping options. Either by boat which may take a few weeks or by air direct to a local airport which takes much less time. All local taxes must be paid on collection.
This 18 foot sent to San Francisco by air costs in the region of $2400. The same yurt by sea would have cost in the region of $1300 and would take 35 days.
